Hello, I am looking to place a fanned transmission cooler somewhere under my 40. Could not find anything I was looking for on my search. I have a 700r4 and would like to remove it from my radiator to help on engine cooling. Wondering if anyone has had success with this modification. Also my engine is a TBI 5.7 Chevy. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I think it will work better if it has air flow. Perhaps build a duct/shroud for it and use at least 12 V computer fan or 2. Your shroud could be the mounting unit and you could include a temp switch to turn on the fan.
