Selling a 71 F motor, complete minus carb. Includes the following (all still on motor):
intake manifold
header (brand unknown)
distributor, coil (new), wires
fuel pump
alternator
water pump
fan
temp and oil sending units
plus other odds and ends that go with it.....
Motor was purchased for a project 40 awhile back, but we got a deal on a 2F, so this one is not needed. Stored inside for the last 2+ years. This motor was pulled for a V8 swap. I have not heard it run, but did see the 40 it came out of, and based on the condition of the 40 and the conversations with the previous owner, it seems like this was serviced regularly and taken care of.
All it really needs is a carb, new oil lines (braided steel for around header), and maybe oil pan and valve cover gaskets. Asking $300 for all. Motor is located in Walnut Creek, CA. Prefer not to ship, but if you really need it, maybe we can work something out via MUDship. For local pickup, I can supply an engine hoist for loading.
