Hello, I am new here. .
I have just acquired a 1970 FJ40 that I ran around in 40 years ago with a buddy ( it was his at the time) he passed from cancer a couple years ago and his wife gave it to me. It has been all tore apart as he was going to restore it and he didn’t get the time on earth to even get started on it . So I am restoring it from the ground up, should I buy a disc brake conversion or stay with drum brakes? The brakes and all parts including drums need replaced. I don’t have unlimited funds so cost is a factor. Is the conversion a hard thing to get all set up? Thanks in advance.
