There are a few marks and slight wear on the covers, 2 small spots on the wiring diagram, and a diagonal crease on the back cover. Otherwise, the inside pages are complete and free from marks, wear and written notes.

- The front cover image has rectangular turn signals and no front bib lights.
- The back cover has the TEQ pinwheel logo, manual "NO. 96151", and 'PRINTED IN JAPAN 4X".
- Tools page 38 includes an image and description of the large tool roll, which includes the Hammer and Engine adjust kit.
- The Quality Care schedule on page 39 has separate sub-sections for "DAILY CHECK", "ENGINE", etc.
- The General Specifications covers FJ40(L)V, FJ40(L), FJ43(L), and FJ45(L)P-B vehicles.
- The manual includes a wiring diagram that omits the "WIRING HARNESS COLOR CODES" box that was present on earlier wiring diagrams.
