There are a few marks, the shadow of a former sticker and very slight wear on the covers. Otherwise, the inside pages are complete and free from marks, wear and written notes.

This is a 1968 owner's manual.

• This manual cover specifies "OWNERS MANUAL" without the apostrophe.
• The front cover image has round turn signals and front bib lights.
• The back cover has the TEQ pinwheel logo, manual "NO. 97206-1", and 'PRINTED IN JAPAN 2Y".
• Tools page 38 includes an image and description of the large tool roll, which includes the Hammer and Engine adjust kit.
• The Quality Care schedule on page 39 has two introductory paragraphs and does not have sub-sections like later manuals.
• The General Specifications covers FJ40(L)V, FJ40(L), FJ43(L), and FJ45(L)P-B vehicles and includes a section on "Lighting System" on page 59.
• The manual includes a wiring diagram that has the "WIRING HARNESS COLOR CODES" box in the lower right corner.
