Well I'm not in any hurry, if I keep it I will just end up building it myself because it is the nicest starting platform I've seen. I won't take a bath on it, I gotta get what I have into it or I will just keep it in the hoard!

And you shouldn't, as you WILL regret it if you do.

Hang on to it...that rig is too clean to just get rid of

while i'm at it... what is the history of this beast? what happened to the original drive train?

Well I know that some crazy hippy owned it, that is for sure! I know it spent the majority of it's life in California because it has a tag that refers to the V8 swap in the door jamb. Then the "dude" ended up in Northern New Mexico, Las Vegas to be exact, and that's pretty much all I know. The swap was really pretty clean, and easily reversed in my opinion. Why previous owners do stupid s*** is beyond me, they must think it's a really good idea at the time. I was going to do either a 2F or Diesel swap to update the drivetrain to a more modern set up, while leaving it as original and classic both outside and in.

Anyone in for $3500? I just found someone willing to buy the extra frame, vin and title so I could discount this one a little. It would still come with all of the spare parts, minus the extra frame. I would throw in a good re-buildable 2F, 4-speed, t-case with the deal!

Extra frame is sold, this LV is up for $3500. Why would you even want to start with a basket case at even half this price, what would you end up with? Start with something nice to end up with something nice, simple as that. LVs are just rare enough that trying to fabricate body pieces is expensive and largely time-consuming; you will spend more headache and money in the long run. Begin with the right start, buy my LV!
