Hello guys, i recently just bought a 64 fj40.. With the current roll cage on it will i be able to fit a 1968 hardtop on it? Inquiry is greatly appreciated and im sorry if this is there is another post, ive been searching

With no more information on how high the bar is etc... I will hazard a guess and say that it should. Unless your aftermarket bar is too high.
Oh and let me be the first to say, Your Bezel is upside down. Sweet rig though.
Are we talking a full cage ?With the current roll bar it will fit I just took one out of a 1964 I wanted a more stock look which in 1964 was no roll cage.

The roll cage runs along the edges of my front windshelid and runs along the top as well with two tubes connecting t to the back cage runnint down the middle.
Also is mine supposed to have a B pillar or is that for the newer years

High B pillar was gone by 64. No one came answer your will it fit my top with the only picture covering the front of the cage. Test fitting your best bet. The 64 hard top was higher then a 68. Your also going to add some fixed nuts to the windshield and notch the top for the wipers.
While your at it get rid of that 10 bolt front axle.

It looks like it will clear to me. In all seriousness I would ditch that "cage" with no triangulation or support that thing is more of a hazard that any type of help. You roll that front hoop is going to be in your lap or your head.

Ive seem gussets for hardtops. How neccesary are those
