I'll see what I can do. Its difficult to get much of a photo with the window installed in the door as much of the parts are hidden behind the steel panel. I'll see what I can get at.

Thanks, Mike

Great Looking FJ, where did you get rubber seals for doors, windows , and hardtop.
Thanks Toy25ht Bill

I have not done that yet.... point me toward Shane though. Thanks, Mike

Here is the photo of the Pyramid Matting I used.

Its tough to get much of a photo of the insides. I'll dig a little deeper looking for the complete set of parts not installed in a door.

Thanks Toy25ht Bill

Door and window rubber came from Specter. The hardtop rubber was carefully reconditioned.

Thanks, Mike

I believe that it was original on my FJ40. When we started the restoration, there were fragments of the white color pyramid vinyl under the top frame of the running board. I have also seen photos of early FJ45LV wagons with the same white vinyl floor covering fresh from the factory.

Thanks, Mike

I will post some before photos tomorrow. The seats were done in a local upholstery shop to try and match the original ones.

Thanks, Mike

After looking through my pre-restoration photos, I don't think that these seats were stock and must have been replaced at some time prior to my involvement.

Here is the original material on the running boards. I have the same remnants on my 1960 FJ25.

thanks for posting those pics up. that's a really interesting set up. i have a set of those doors but they are missing all the regulator stuff.

Phenomenal job on your 1962. I just started mine. I have a question - do you have a close up of the piece that connects your T/C handle with the FD pull switch? It just donned on me that I will have the FD switch in a couple days, but don't have the piece that links the two. Also - did you blast & prep your tub, and if so did you use sandblaster/stripper combo., or how did you prep it so nicely?

Looks like I am missing a retaining pin on the bottom there. I outsourced the tub prep to a person that soda blasted the body. Not sure if they used any other methods in addition. Hope this helps. Mike

Excellent Mike. I have been collecting photos to reference during my next year of restoration, and this helps. Good looking build ! I'm going to drive mine this fall, then tear it down when winter arrives. Looking foward to it ! These elderly FJ40's are tough to find parts for, but they are awesome !!!

Here is a link to my Flickr site and the complete set of reference photos. Look forward to seeing your progress. Mike
