I am looking for some new 18" summer tires for my LC on road, I have R3's for winter, any suggestions.?Looking for a nice road handling long lasting tire.
Thanks

I have Michelin defender ltx m/s tires in 275-65-18 with 94,000 miles. They are being replaced today due to a nail going through one of the tires last night and not able to plug safely long term. They have been great overall just not the prettiest tire.

I’m getting Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s tires installed this afternoon. I’m not expecting to get the same mileage. Just trying something new.

Was your Michelin LT or P-metric?

The Continental TerrainContact is listed as an AT tire but has tested well on road in tests by Consumer Reports and by Tire Rack...you can see the videos on those sites. I plan to replace factory Dunlops when they wear out with either the Continentals or the Michelin Defenders in P rated 275-65-18.

@kng I'll be selling my defender LTX with only 10k on them in the coming weeks if you're not in a rush... set of 4 in size: p265/65/r18 getting my lift installed and they'll be too small for the look

If you read some of the reviews online, then you will see that TerrainContact may make your fuel economy go down. :(
