18 inch 100 series OEM Wheels

Looking for a 5th OEM wheel to PC.....Anyone ever compare an 18 inch 06/07 OEM 100 series wheel to pre-06/07 18 inch OEM 100 series wheels? From pics, they look the same from a styling perspective, just different colors (shiney silver versus a flat silver).

Also, I have one wheel where the existing OEM PC finish is flaking off. If I have the wheel sand blasted before PC, will the new PC adhere properly or is this a defect in the alloy that will continue to flake?
