Any advice greatly appreciated!

Both are less quiet and better on mud than an at or hybrid. They are both major manufacturers with 100s of in depth reviews available.

Run em if you like em

00mm pushes those out quite a bit. I'd probably go with the 35mm offset version of that wheel. You will be very close to optimal scrub radius.

I am running 275/70/18 Trail Grapplers (33.6x11.2) on Method NV +25. I like them. They are loud though. A good bit louder than the Toyo M/Ts I run on my 100 but much less $$$. I would buy again.
I agree with @tincan45 that 0 offset will be too much, I don’t think that will work at all.

A 0 offset wheel is going to move the wheel out 60mm over stock. This will definitely give you better clearence between tire and UCA but now the problem is you are going to have hella contact/scrubbing behind the tire where the mudguard resides. Even with the mudguard removed you would scrub/hit like crazy.

looks like mainly the tie in between braking , turning and ABS, especially in newer cars with typically pos. offset wheels from the factory..

so it would possibly effect turning? I assume how much lift I have will also be a factor..

It could possibly effect a lot of things. I won't pretend to know all the factors involved, but I would recommend staying above 30mm for that size tire. I'm running 20mm with a 285 33" tire and I still had to do some trimming. Nevertheless, it's still a compromise at 28mm positive. If you like those wheels, I can't think of a reason not to get the 35mm version. You will only be positive 11-14mm.

What did you have to trim? I would like to go with that same tire size but with 17” Rock Warriors. Debating if it is worth the effort and stick with 285/70/17 (33”)

Icon rebound wheels work well, they only have one size in a cruiser bolt pattern. Slee reccomended those wheels for the offset. I have had nitro grapplers M/T tires on a cruiser and they did not last long as far a tire wear and they were loud, but looked great.

Those Nitto Trail Grapplers are a hell of a tire. I have some 315s on my 80 right now, and they are really tough on the trail.

Trail grapplers wear like iron. I ran them in 35x12.5 x17 for 50,000 miles. Just be diligent in rotating them. They are heavy compared to the STT Pros. I ran the STT pros in 315/70/17 for 30,000 miles and they wore quicker on my 200 than the Trail grapplers did. I still have the STT Pros on a spare set of RW wheels. Then i Changed up to the ridge grapplers 35x12.5x17 and they are much quieter. Not nearly as aggressive in muddy situations, obviously. Both tires you listed are great IMHO. Im running the BFG KM3’s 37x12.5x17 on my 80 series and i love them.
Not as loud as the TG or Pros. Something to think about. Good luck

I only got 35k out of mine roatating through 5 tires on a hundred series and 45k on my jeeps. Love the tires, but they don’t wear like most tires from my experience.

I do love my local alignment shop

I’m running the MR701 in 17” with 4.75” backspacing. In due time, I will be switching to a set-up with at least +25mm of offset. I can say for sure the poke will put your shoulder outside of the wheel well. You’ll have to trim some tupperware as necessary.

The biggest “problem” I have had is an uneven wear pattern. I’m running 285/70r17 Toyo R/T. My alignment is almost perfect, but I’m having significantly more wear on the exterior shoulders. The interior shoulders look almost news sans chipping. These are full-time four wheel drive vehicles, and scrub radius issues may be amplified by the active front axle.

I really like the stance on this rig with Tundra A-arms and 5.81 backspace, so I guess thats around 28mm offset......
