16" rims 6 bolt

The local Toyota dealer has 16"x7" 6 bolt silver rims they claim are from the 96-02 4Runner under part# 42601-35740. Does anyone know if these are the same rims as the 42601-60262-03 everyone here is recommending for the 70 series? There $80 but I'm not sure of the backspacing spec.

Ok, I think I found the answer to my own question ...the Toyota p/n 42601-35740 is a 7" wheel and the 42601-60262-03 is a 6".

If I were to install Cooper 255/85/R16 M/T tires would I be better off with the 6 or 7" wide rims?

4Runnder has the wrong off-set for Land Cruisers - you'll need spacers.

6" or 7" is fine.

Thanks, I ordered a set of the Toyota 42601-60262-03 6" rims. Looking forward to some new tread in time for hunting season!
