16 inch wheels?

anyone running 16 inch tundra/taco wheels on their pig?; have been very happy with them on the 60........just wanted to get other members opinions and if there were any problems with clearences, short of taking them off the wifes DD and installing them on the pig and convincing her that it is a good idea and "NO, I am not taking them away permanently"

I've run 16" wheels for years. No issues with clearances except on wheels with too much backspacing (4" and more like the tundra wheels) rubbing on the factory steering box under flex. If you can find wheels with the correct backspacing you'll be better off, unless you're a spacer kinda guy.

No help here- made my own rims with factory back spacing since it was cheaper than purchasing any then shipping them. But good luck!

Hey Chief; got another question; what measurements did you use for the backspacing?

thanks for the advice; we put 16 inch taco wheels on the fj 60 DD and they had only minimal rubbing on the right side that resolved with 1 inch spacers; have been running some really cruddy 15 inchers on "rusty" and was going to look for taco 16 inch wheels; there are a lot of ppl. here trading their new 16 inch wheels for 20 inchers ...am I missing something here?
