13.5" wide tire on a 8" rim

considering Toyo mt's for fj40.
Have 15x8 wheels. In 35" tall they only offer a 13.5" wide. Toyo says 8.5 to 11" rim
Thoughts if will work on 8" rim. Also wondering if the width will rub.

I have Toyo MT's on my stock 80 rims, 315/75 R 16.
pretty common, no issues. Guys seem to be able to mount and balance them just fine, and I run them at 17 or so on the Rubicon and in Pismo.

I'm thinking about getting these: wonder if the will work on my stock wheels or should I get some new ones, 37.7's and it calls for a 10" rim width minimum.
If I had to get a wider rim, guess I'd just get 17" rims and open up my choices...
