12v power source for rear camera

I wired my new radio with camera and I need to find a power source for the red and black wire for the camera. The reverse wire is connected to the reverse lights and works fine. Now I need for the camera feed to come alive. Any easy wire to tap into with the red and black wires at the back of the car? Thanks

For mine the camera was getting powered by the radio itself. Yours is not?

It comes up but the screen is black with only the back up lines showing. No picture

maybe your connection to the reverse light is not good? took me a few tries since the wire was such a thin gauge for the backup camera.

Are you trying to get it to come one when it’s not in reverse?

Does the the LX have the harness socket in the rear passenger quarter panal for the factory LC amp (W6)? Don't have my truck with me to check

I don't know about the harness but I appreciate the diagram. When I put it in reverse the camera engages as it should but the picture is all black.

Do you have it ground?

I wired mine to the hot wire in the rear quarter sub amp harness. Just take your volt meter and find it. Pretty simple.

The LX450 doesn't have a rear sub. I tried a better ground but nothing yet.
