12HT sound deadening on a 62 (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys, can anyone here share their experience of sound deadening the engine noise in your 60/62. I have a 12HT in mine, and though the noise is bearable, I have driven another 60 with a 12HT and that is much more silent. So just asking for some advice and pictures as well would help.

P.S. I have the stock carpet + an additional layer in place, but no sound deadened below that.

You may write 12HT or HJ61 on Youtube and ear the severale video with that engine running in different condition. There is pletty of video !

The hood insulator snapped up to the inside of the hood is a big contributor to quieting the engine. If yours is ragged or missing, that would make a difference.
