Hello. Since 2023 i am running a 120 amp alternator on my hzj 74 insteaf the 80 amp.
After the rig went to body worshop...i noticed the 2 battery was dead...replaced them and drive...no problem until this morning when alternator died...stator began to burn !!
I think they welded body panels without disconnecting the battery and killed both my battery and my alternator...i can see the were welding without the battery protection system installed ....
Else what could cause the stator melting ?
