I am doing this small write up because i was not able to find it in the forum perhaps it is of some use to someone.

I have a viofo dashcam wich needs a usb connection to power up. I use my 100 only now and then so the 12volt source needed to be switched. I found the interior light to be perfect for the job. I switches on 12 volts when opening the door(s) on the remote and off once closed. If you use the remote but do not open a door the source switches off again after a short period and the doors lock automatically.

I used a 7 - 20 volt convertor to two usb ports. Handy if i need a second source up there. Fixed with some double sided tape.
Cut the green (postive) and black (negative) wire. Put some heatshrink in place and soldered all three wires together. Shrunk the heatshrink over the solder joint and tiewraps finished the job.
Just above the rearview mirror a usb cable slotted between the headliner and windshield.

In my previous car the dashcam would power on when the ignition was switched on. Major downside was the dashcam taking some time to boot up. Now it has done that by the time i am in the seat so all of the journey is recorded. Well pleased with myself!

I thought this was going to be a question... so I went to Amazon and found this.

It looks like the one you have. Maybe not.

Am I missing something here? Wouldn't the dash cam turn off when you close the door before you start driving?
