100 Series Auto-folding mirror on lock/unlock - is it possible?

Hi all, I have a 2005 Lexus LX470 and am looking for a way to add a feature where the mirrors will close when I lock the car and unfold when I unlock.

I do have the power folding feature in the LX but I could not find the option to control folding when locking or unlocking in Techstream. Is it possible on the LX? I love using this feature to tell me if my car is locked or unlocked as I walk away

It's possible. I have it on my 100. Don't ask me how it was done, but I had my LX470 at TJ Auto and the owner of the shop performed it (I didn't even ask for it) while he was working on my 100. Fun little extra bonus and why I love going to Tommy (the owner). It's possible he took the module from another Toyota (does the 200 have this?).

Hahah I saw your post on Instagram which caused me to post this. I’m pretty sure he might have used an aftermarket eBay module but I wanted to ask here if there were other solutions before I go to eBay


The 200 has it and it’s what I miss.

I was playing around in Techstream on my SC430 today and noticed a ton of customization options like this. My LC is too old and not-fancy for power folding mirrors (what are you, royalty? ). Are you certain it's not buried in a TS sub-menu?
