So, I finally hit 100k on my 80. I purchase it a little over two years ago with 79k and it has been my daily driver and weekend wheeler. Out of all the Toyota 4x4's I've own (and I've owned just about every model...) the 80 is hands-down the best! IMO. We have taken it on numerous road trips so far, and it is a perfect size for loading all of the family & gear into. Next, I am hoping to put a 4" lift & 37's on it, and just use it as my weekend wheeler.

Below is a pic I took Monday after rolling over 100k.

Show off!!!

I think it's kind of cool that you hit the 80 miles on your trip meter to correspond with your 100k.

A milestone would be the D light burning out!
Congrats though.

I know it is yours to do with what you want, but clean low mileage 80s are getting very hard to come by. Save that one for family trips and pick up a cheap "trail ready" 80 for weekend duty.

Yea, That's an idea I have tossed around for a while now. I'd like to get a beater for wheeling :steer:, I just don't really have room for an extra vehicle right now. But that's not to say if I find a good deal, I just might pick one up.
