1 ton axle?

How do you know of your axle is a 1 ton or not? The number on my diff is N2. What does that mean, can't find a solid answer on Google

1ton will likely be a full-floater. the hub will protrude out of the wheel and have a cap with nuts and cone-washers. like you see on a dually.

Did they ever make it without being a dualie? I got the 1 ton brakes on the front and I am trying to find out if they made the 1 tons without being a dualie or if someone had just done a brake swap. Done slot of reading and stuff but cant find much, church I'd check here you know lol
