'08 US Diesels?

Ran into a dealership employee today who told me next year would see a new diesel V-8 available in US TLCs and Tundras.......anyone know if its true?...........

They are looking at the diesel for the new TUNDRA in 2008. They have to pass /meet the fuel requirments. Stay tune for futher details..............

I expect they will meet requirements, the reason they are going with this engine is to come up to EURO 4 standards IIRC, I wonder how many diesel trained technicians you guys have at your toyota dealerships?

Probably just as many Hybrid trained technicians when the first Prius was still in the design pipeline.

I seriously doubt you will see diesels until 2009 when the low sulfer fuel is everywhere.
