06 GX470 New Wildpeak questions

Hi All,

Just bought a set of Wildpeaks AT3W's and went with 265/70/17. Never tow. Is re-gearing necessary?

No regear necessary at that size. Most don't bother until they go over 33".

You definitely do not need to regear. That’s hardly bigger than stock 265-65-17.

Regear, no. However your speedometer will be off and reading low. Mine is 4.5% low with the same tire size. So drive accordingly and watch out for inadvertent speeding tickets .
