Hello everyone,
Was scouring the web until I found this forum and was really hoping to get a few opinions. From the title, I have an 03 LX470 and 0 issues with the car till now. AHC seems to be acting up but I did not find similar issues before. I have read about issues with sensors, etc.
The problem:
The rear of the car was sitting unusually low and the ride was very, very bouncy (the back, at least). I played around with the height control and the truck does raise, the fluid levels seem to be fine and it does lower. However, when it goes into Neutral, the front is at the right height but the back drops to low. This does not happen all the time and the "work around" I have found was when the truck raises it self back up to the appropriate setting, neutral, and all on it's own, I turn "off" the AHC and it rides perfectly fine. Today, it took it self out of the "Off" setting and proceeded to lower the rear again.
I will absolutely be taking it to a mechanic and I hope maybe its just contacts or just a wonky/dirty sensor as this does not seem to be consistent and I am not getting any lights for the AHC but it's definitely a little strange.
Anyone seen/heard anything similar?
