I finally own a 100. I have an 03 LX and I'm a very happy camper. Here's the question. I have an OEM hitch (i believe) integrated into the rear cross member. See pic.
I would assume that the tow limits for this would be greater than the hitches that are bolted under the bumper. Is this correct? Also, does anyone know the size torx socket that i need to remove this? One more question... Does anyone else have trouble with placing hitch items in this receiver? I would like to use it as a recovery point with my hitch d-ring shackle, but it won't fit, neither will my hitch drop.
