02 TLC Purchase..sunroof issue

Gents,
Just picked up a 2002 TLC and the sunroof is closed and wont open. When I try and tilt or open you can hear some kind of initial mechanical noise but nothing else. Ive tried silicone on the track and any other place that can be lubricated within reason. No luck. Im lucky there is no leaks, but would like to have a functioning sunroof. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks to this forum Im slowly overcoming some of the TLCs problems.

I would start by making sure that the fuse is still good, then check the switch for proper function, and then you may have to pull the entire headliner to get into the actual mechanism. Start with the easy stuff first.

Thanks...just checked..fuse is good. It sounds like it wants to open but kinda frozen there. Not sure, tomorrow gonna give it another lube down and inspection
