homelink program

I've tried a dozen times to get my 2010 Lexus GX460's homelink buttons to program to our garage door. My 2019 RAM 2500 programmed up instantly without trouble. What am I missing? I've followed the all of the video and written instructions including clearing the memory after each attempt...
