This past summer, my wife and I spent three months and 13,000 miles traveling Alaska and Canada making it to the Arctic Ocean twice. I wrote a three part series about the trip.
Part two of my three part series Arctic Adventures in a Vintage Land Cruiser is now live in TCT magazine . The...

Parting out a 1982 FJ60 with only 148k miles. I've never turned the motor on this FJ over, but the previous owner said it had an engine knock. Pretty low miles on everything else including the t-case and transmission.

I purchased this FJ60 with the intention of fixing it up and selling it. It had such a clean interior and it was completely original. Alas, the motor has a lower engine knock and the body is rusty so I've reluctantly decided to part it out.
If you did want to buy the whole thing, it would be...

Hello, I'm looking for a set of FJ-60 door cards in SoCal. The worse looking (cheaper) the better as long as its all there. I'm planning to try making a new set to match my BMW leather seat install and just want some old ones for templates/ the metal piece at the top.
I have not found a good thread on having a cruise control installed on a stock FJ-60. I had it done with one I owned in the 90's but the company that did it then is out of business.
Any recommendations on doing this or the type of shop that can do it? Issues with doing this on the carburated 2F?
My 60 just got a 6BT conversion and I couldn't be happier with it. It required about a 5" lift to fit the Cummins so she sits a little high. I've looked for running boards or sliders that would provide a step for my wife & daughter (just had ACL surgery) but haven't had any luck. My Dodge...
I am just starting to try to re-home my 60, I am not in a hurry to sell.
1986 stock fj60 2F 4spd.
Some rust, some small dents.
Body is straight and almost all of the electrical works as it should.
I just had the inner axle seals done up front.
Nearly 250,000 mi.
I know some one has some of these in a pile somewhere. I need the black plastic piece, my glass is still intact. Hopefully will find some one local to trade a sixer for....... would like to do this as inexpensively as possible.
Recently picked up an 87 Fj60 from the 2nd owner down here in SoCal with 180k original miles. Just put new heavy OME springs upfront with Marks Offroad shackles. Sitting almost level with a small rake in the rear of a 1/4"
Also wanted to give a huge shout out for Mark's Offroad here in L.A. for...
After having my emergency triangles floating around the truck I wanted a good out of the way location but was accessible.
I found this mounting bracket. Amazon.com: Triangle Kit Mounting Bracket: Industrial & Scientific
The triangle case I had was a little short for the mount so I used a...
Since my FJ-60 is now a two seater, I removed the rear seat heater from under the P/S seat. This gave a space for storage. As luck would have it the BROG Tool bag fit perfectly.
The tool bag fits perfectly under the seat . The second picture is the bag half under the seat.
