ambient temperature

Dear Mudders, there might won't be many FZJ100 owners on this forum, but i'm trying my luck anyway! What readings do you normally get driving around in 20-30°C ambient temp. weather? the highest reading on the temp gauge I've ever seen is a tick below the mid mark (that was after 2hrs/200km...
