4 wheel drive

Hey guys, Need help troubleshooting the left front while in 4 wheel drive. When in 2 wheel drive and hubs not locked, it drives and turns with no problems. Hubs locked and in 4L, it goes forward and reverse no problem as long as the wheel is straight. Turn the wheel and get a clunking noise...
