They're going to have to be relined.

I'll be getting at least one set done soon, I'll check if there's any kind of break for more.

About how much did it cost the last time you had a set of four done? Also, did you have enough thickness left to have your drums turned?

I had lucked out Steve. On my first the PO must have done a brake job immediately before parking it, so I had new shoes to work with. Shouldn't be too much more than a rebuilt set if shoes. Drums have been relatively straight, so I just cut them a few thousandsths.

Exact same shoe all positiions.

Shoe measures 1.760" in width.

I had a bunch relined, and I was wrong, it was a lot more than a rebuilt set, around $20 a shoe. Local guy, great to deal with, so if you can't find anyone local you can try Tim: www.allfrictions.com

The riveted shoe is an original Toyota one, bonded one is the relined one.

Archie, took a couple weeks, and I know they're shutting down for Christmas - New Years. Do you have a set of cores you can send me, maybe we can work something out with the ones I have done.
