I have an '83 FJ60 that I would like to go to a good home. The details:
3" BDS lift
nearly new 33" Goodyear MTR's
ARB Bull Bar w/ Warn Winch
rear lock-right locker
Optima red-top battery
upgraded HELLA headlights
desmogged
Weber Carb
new radiator
header and flowmaster muffler
new clutch
engine had the top end rebuilt about 2 years ago when it was installed. It runs very nicely.
I've had it about 4 years and put the new(er) engine in because the front main blew on the other engine. I haven't put more than 1000 miles on this thing a year. It has a little bit of rust and some rock rash, but nothing serious. Also has slight hail damage on the hood.
I have a straight (no hail damage) hood for the truck, but it's white, and the truck is tan. The worst rust is on the tailgate and lift gate, and I also have rust free parts to replace those, even in the correct color. I was going to wait until the rust got worse before swapping them on.
I pretty much have spare everything for the truck. Anything you need for the trails, I have it. Birfields, driveshafts, alternator, waterpump, power steering pump etc. I also have a locker for the front, just needs to be installed. That stuff can all be available for the right deal.
This truck is trail ready, and I've traversed the trails at Tellico and in Attica, IN with this truck. It has served me well but I'm ready to move on.
I'd like to get $4000 for it, but I also want to get rid of it, and I'm willing to wheel and deal, maybe trade for a FJ40 or adjust the price depending on what spare parts leave with the truck and which stay with me.
