i've been working on puitting together a "fj45 registry". rick donneley had done one for fj45lv wagons years ago and has forwarded all his info to me. i've decided to expand it to include all 45s, as well as troopies and 75s in the USA.
if you have not submitted your info yet, please do so via e-mail. not sure what all will be available to the public for security purposes, but it'll be worth looking, that's for sure.
so far i have collected info on about 300 fj45s, but i know there are a lot more out there.
the info i need is:
year
model
vin#
engine
trans/t-case
axles
tires
any mods
location
brief history
PICS!
any and all will be appreciated, along with any coments or requests.
i will be working on this along with a couple of other guys willing to help me get this hosted and set up. for now, we're collecting info, but should get started on the website later this year.
thanks in advance.

fj45.ih8mud.com has been offerred ;)

rodney just got back to working on it earlier this week. sure looks like it'll be hosted on here (thanks woody!!!!!) .

looks like there's a fj55 registry in the making as well. :)

perhaps I should purchase the domain "cruiserregistry.com".....set it up as a joint-host that way....

i like the idea.

you might want to get a hold of PVCruiser aka seth on the pbb first, i think he's working on the "fj55 registry".

Very cool.

Thanks for hosting it Woody. Georg, Rodney Thanks for all the hard work.

screw it, bought it anyways....

I'll PM seth this morning...thanks!

OK... Year: 1973, VIN FJ45-59108 Model FJ-45 PB PU, engine '78 2F, trans-case 3-speed on the floor 4WD, axles "yes"?, tires one ton stock 16 inch 10 ply BFG, mods radio speakers, location Huntsville, UT. Brief history originally from Costa Rica, purchased Sept. 14, 2001 (guy showed up w LOADED 50 Cal. machine gun on tripod in rear), cleaned and fixed on it as a "restored fun/farm truck which it remains today. I am apparently not smart enough to send pictures but TMACK posted some on my behalf a few days earlier this month. See 45LWB PU for Sale.

Hey, Tmack thanks for the recomendation to mud.

Im new to mud and new to 45's. Ive owned a few 40's but Ive never been "hard core". Basically ignorant.
Ive been trying to browse around the conversations and answer some of the questions I have without asking, but I dont know my way around and know Im in the wrong area for these questions. So I figured I would stop right here and ask you guys. Hopefully in the future I will find my way around a little better. Until then I hope you guys can help.

-why did fj45 sale end in 1967 in the USA and continue in other areas such as Canada?
-are fj45's desireable or "worth anything" after 1967?
-do fj45's have 1 ton axles from the factory?

CruiserRegistry.com

Any further progress on the registry? I would love to see one for all models, not just the FJ45. Of course, that may be a bit of work, but I have about 20 or so on the troopy registry I started a while back.

Cheers,

Josh
