It looks like it always belonged there!

oh!
and here is a pic of the rear springs, OME on the left and OE on the right.

285/75/16 Truxus

springs and shocks.

I have the caster correction bushings, but no time to install them before CMCC 2004. I'll have to do them later. I hope it doesn't handle too horribly

stock steering dampner still resides after 170,000 miles

I guess we will be on different trails this year at CMCC since I'll be up there with the 60. That is if I'm able to make it. Hope to see you there.

where did you pic em up used?

A good friend that just put the J's on :D
he gave me a pretty good deal

Good picts. Let's me know what I am in for!! Looks great.

And the tires look great too. How are they on the road? Noise? Specifically which Truxus are those? And where can you get them?

(Sorry - not trying to hijack......)

Truxus M/T's 285/75/16

great tires in the snow and wet. Grip rocks real well. Tough sidewalls.
on road noise is very minimal. Handling is good, but not as good as a BFG AT. It's a little squirmier.
Performance was affected as the intercos weigh like 4 times what the Michelins did
acceleration is not as good as it was, but not bad.

so what springs and shocks are these?
did you measure the lift ?

and why did you keep the hitch receiver?

E

Truxus are good tires. I'm thinking about running there all terrains. Friend runs a set of 35's on his heep, work well in mud defintatley will do well in sand.

pics no worky?!!

Well, at least I know you're making good use of your time instead of working on the Trails article....

outch.......

As for the pics... sorry a gigantic thunderstorm blew through last night and took the power out for a bit. No power means no server. It's on a UPS, but I turned it off and went to bed. Should be up now.

Those 285's fill up the well better than I would have imagined. Nice.

OME Heavy lift springs 850 and 863. OME N73 and N74E shocks.

I forgot to..... how dumb is that!!!
it really looks like at least 2.5" if not 3. My stock suspension was sagging pretty terribly at 170,000 miles. Especially in the rear after the bumper, just look at the pics!

well...... the hitch is so I can tow a trailer around. Believe it or not, It's 6 bolts, and fairly easy to put on/ off. It WON'T be on for CMCC 2004  (or any other decent wheeling event for that matter...)

but it looks like you have the bolts for a tow fixture on the bumper, no?
