1979 FJ 40 in NC**********Not for sale any longer*****

********well I've decided not to sell the cruiser. I just can't let her go.***********

Well it's with a heavy heart I've decided to sell my 40. The wife and I have a baby on the way and I'll be looking to invest in an 80. I am sure I'll have another 40 later down the road, but for now this is the right thing to do. Details below:

1979 Toyota Landcruiser FJ 40 4x4
4.2 Liter inline 6 Cyl 135 HP
4 spd manual transmission
Color: Alpine white
4 wheel disc brake conversion
6 point roll cage....slightly bent to the passenger side. cannot install the hard top, but the bikini top that I use fits fine.
OME shocks
Hell For Stout front bumper
Metal Tech nose guard and stinger
5 33 x 9.50 BFG all terrains on stock wheels
4 32 x 10.50 Super Swampers TSL radials on black rock crawler wheels (2 tires like new, 2 tires approx 50%)
Diamond plate tailgate
New starter, muffler and NC inspection
Includes soft top, bikini top, and full hard top and doors
Also have a lot of extra parts, Fenders, brake drums, Pintle hook hitch
$4,000

The cruiser was rolled by the PO. I replaced the hood, windshield frame, glass and wiper motor. There is some rust on the truck, but it runs perfect. The only thing this 40 needs is some body work. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It’s been through every trail at Uwharrie and didn’t have a bit of trouble. If you have any questions, just shoot me a PM and I'll gladly answer the best I can.

Very interested. I know I'm a Newbe here but I would like to ship it to CT. I have just sold my 1967 and am looking for a " new" 40. If this is something you would like to do I can come down and get it or get a shipping Co to ship it up north.

Sorry to see this one go Erymer.....and I just sold my 80 yesterday. Didn't know you were in the market....cause it went cheap and it was already lifted with OME springs.

Very Interested and in Wilmington, NC. I have a 55 now and actually been looking for a decent 40 for my wife for her 30th Birthday in 3 weeks. Please email parker-engineering@mail.com with a contact number so I can give you a call and ask a few detailed questions.

Thanks,

CP

thanks for the reply Scott. This would have to be pickup only due to the amount of extra parts. The rollcage has a slight lean to the passenger side that would prevent the hard top from fitting properly. I think I forgot to mention that in the initial post. I'll correct that now. There is also a partial tub that comes with it.
