Does anybody know where i can get a Black Pearl Emblem Package for a 2000 LC. The dealer states the 6 piece kit is no longer made by Toyota. The kit used to go for between $115-$150. A private business wants $300 to do, which seemes a bit high.

Sorry, they are discontinued ... :frown:

I found a set on the internet and just ordered them for less than 70.00 including shipping. Check out Findlaytoyotapart.com

I couldnt find the web site "Findlaytoyotapart.com." The 03+ kits are for the one piece rear emblem which has to be the same color as the body. The older ones, like my 00 are on the rear gate as words. I found dealers web sites which listed the part # , however they state it is not avaiable anymore.

Go with that deal. I put them on my 2000 LC and they look great. Sorry, I've got zero time to take a picture today.

Too good to be true, they called me today and said they don't make them any more (like I didn't know). Told them they need to keep their web site updated better.

As was stated above, I am in the process of Do-it-myself Black Pearl emblems. Yotatech.com has some folks that have done it and they were pleased with the results - Testors rattle cans - Black Pearl and Clear coat. If I ever finish, I will post up the pictures. The way I see it, if they don't turn out, then they stay off the vehicle - it was too cluttered back there anyway. Aprox $20 in material is worth the shot - $300 is way too much for items that don't affect the drive.

And if I could mine off w/o any damage to the paint, you'd have my silver ones for free.

The emblems just prevents the area from being properly washed/cleaned/waxed.
Don't like them, prefer cars that are anonymous...

Tried pulling them on an old Audi. Never really got the paint to be OK, so I guess they'll stay...(this is of course more of a problem on white(r) cars).

Wellcraft19 - my truck came with the beautiful gold emblems! I took them off with thin fishing line with no damage to the paint or emblems. Just slide it under one side and keep moving it back and forth. It will cut right through the original tape. I then sold my used gold emblems on Ebay for $75!
