I have 3 FJ 60's. The same wire is burnt on all three of them. Is this a wire routing issue? Or is this the beginning of a wiring problem?

isnt that the temp sensor wire? if so......I bet it just got to close the manifold and melted

Replace it with a mechanical guage and copper line and you wont have to worry about it.

well I got a bunch of cruisers with the same wire and aint never burned one up, I would suspect its routed wrong.

you could wrap it in heat tape or a shield though

Do you really have 3 FJ60's now? What did you get? Did you mean 3 2F's?

I'll be sure to check that wire on mine.

That is the head temp sensor wire. I believe there is some clip or bracket that helps support it to keep it away from the exhaust manifold. Maybe its the choke cable that has the bracket..... A couple of zip ties should keep it safe.
