LX450 vs. Land Cruiser what's the difference in suspension components?

IIRC, same springs, 20% softer shocks

LX,

Observation fact, almost all LX's sit lower than LC's in stock form. Could be a result of softer shocks and/or also softer springs.

Same springs, different shocks. The 450 may sit a bit lower as it is a bit more tubby.

I really like the 450 however i hate the soft ride. Its really bad on the road, least mine is and it seems to bottom out alot on big bumps im going to upgrade mine as soo as possible.

hey shocks had bad problems from the factory on the lx when combined with the soft sidewall of the stock tires used to go allover the road at fwy speed . we used to put stiffer rancho ones on at the dealer as a toyota authorised feild fix
