We are looking into the CARS program to see if he can afford a new car to trade it in with as well before anyone suggests that. However the most he could afford would be a Yaris or Scion XD.

Might be interested in the springs and axles. lrt me know what he decides to do.

I would def be interested in the headers and exhaust since my exhaust has a nice hole in it and is missing some pieces from when we went up to URE.

maybe you can get the wheels and tires too Tristan.....LOL

I just got a chance to put urs on last weekend thanks again..went to Frankie's too..btw Frankie says hi to David..

Get the Yaris and flip there has been some talk of other people doing that with old broken Land Cruiser. I thought about getting rid of mine but I am not going to let it beat me

I will let you guys know if it comes down to parting it out. However he has found a nice 80 that he wants to buy this weekend and would be willing to let the whole truck go for $1500. 3pits has sent me the first interest in it at this price, but he is waiting on pictures. If he passes on it I will let you know.

If we did part it out, the axles/springs/shackles would be $350 and the exhaust/header would be $350. He just paid $350 for the exhaust 4 weeks ago, so you would be getting a $400 header for free. Plus we paid $350 for the springs used and shackles new, so the axles would be free.

Update:

My brother is buying one of Glenn's old 80's so the cruiser has been SAVED. No crusher for all these parts. I will have pictures up tonight, and hopefully 3pits will have an idea if he wants it or not.

If not, David, you should buy it and put the lift on your 62, the axles under your Jeep and sell the exhaust to ttahara and sell the motor to Scott for his 40.;) I remember him saying something about wanting to rebuild his motor at one time.

Anyway, once I get some pics to Bob, we'll decide if we are going to tear it down or not.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Just emailed Bob some pics, amd waiting to see if he is going to buy the whole thing. Here is some pictures for you guys to see if you want anything.

:D "There is always SMALL PRINT!!" LOL hahahahahaha That is Bait and Switch...show one set of wheels and then say they are not for sale...hahahaha

My brother is done with his 87' FJ60 so we are trying to part it out. It is in excellant shape, however his frame gave out this saturday and he doesn't have the means to replace it/repair it. It is also available complete as he is taking offers. He doesn't want much out of it. Probably less that than what he just put into the motor/exhaust 2 month ago. It has the following:

2F
New Headgasket (2 months ago)
New Head (2 months ago)
New MAF 2 piece Ceramic Headers
New Exhaust w/ Flowmaster (2 months ago)
Complete motor, Filter to Oil Pan available with the tranny/transfer case.

Suspension
OME 2.5" Springs, with new bushings and 2.5" lift shackles
Front and rear axles, don't seem to leak complete with driveshafts and all steering components

Body
Straight and freshly painted silver:
Hood, front fenders, grill, all four doors.
Rear wheel well has rust, the back gate needs a new trim/license light assembly, but no rust on the gate or hatch. Complete with all lights, emblems etc.

Interior
Very clean blue interior. Small tear in drivers seat, but everything else is in great shape. Seats, carpet, dash, door panels, headliner, etc. Sony CD player with ipod cable installed.

Tires
Cheap 33" rollers on old wagon wheels

Let me know of an interest in any parts and I will post a price. If we don't have any interest in parts right away, it will be sold complete and cheap, probably to me ;).

So post up any interest in parts or pm me an offer for the whole rig. All it needs is a frame and a little rust repair while the body is off for a nice rig.

Jeremy

i know you guys hate reading long threads, but no fine print involved here.

I just didn't have time to remove the tires before I figured you guys wanted to see some pics.

Somebody buy this thing so I don't have to stare at it in my yard for the next 2 weeks.

$1500 obo
