I personally like the band but its not a deal breaker. We do need to compete with the church camp down the street though!!
How much do bands usually cost?
Or, to ask it a different way, how many kegs of ber could we buy if we just plugged an ipod into the PA system?

I missed it last year, so what is the issue with a band? High cost? Too noisy too late? Taste in music?

No problem on the money. It's just that there weren't many people that hung around and listened to the band. Noise isn't a problem and Matt Stell has played at several Cruiser events with good reviews. We just thought the money might be used in a different way.

Don't care...I never stay for the band. I like mellow live music, not loud ass bands where you have to yell to talk. Just me. Could care less either way.
Won't be a deal breaker if there isn't a band, but that sure was a good party.

I like the band...but, I don't think we need the "tractor trailer" stage...it would be just as cool if they were rocking it out at ground level. I think it would also help if they started playing earlier in the evening...crank it up low when everyone is there for dinner, etc.
