Ok, as I was trying to replace my 65 fj40 hood tiedowns, the real pain in the A** bottom bolts just got the best of me. Why make things so hard? It made me wonder....What are the most difficult parts you have had to replace on your cruiser? Pictures added because nobody likes a post without pics.

Thanks for all the great responses. I have sourced one of the early fat style mirrors(spendy). I have the rig in my shop about 45 minutes away...and a snowy mountain Pass. Will get you an update when I can get a hole pattern also. Thanks to all again, Dukes

The build date was June 64...could be reason for different vent Still shaking this thing out. It is very possible that parts were swapped at one time.
