    I am back on this again after a few months of honey do projects. Another coat applied today. Ordered a clutch alignment tool, next up: clean the new (used ) motor ,get the fly wheel turned, put in the new rear main seal.

    If you are sure carb has been cleaned thoroughly and the idle port is clear, I would focus on the finding potential vac leaks, I struggled with this whole thing for what seemed like a few months and was finally able to solve my issues by finding the leaks, adjusting the sticky throttle linkage...

    Oh yes of course, I certainly wasn't planning on attempting to resurface myself, that said the OG machine shops are getting harder to find these days...

    I think my least favorite job on my pig was the gas tank removal / re-install. I set a PR on f bombs over those couple of days on that project.
