That’s awesome!im looking forward to it, would love to do some light wheeling, this thing has a terrible departure angle in the rear compared to the 40s. And I’ve gotta fix my parking brake and a few more odds and ends before then as well

I’m building a 40 at the moment to have a dedicated trail rig, but I would love to bring the 45 down with all the cookware and stuff and make up some food and just hang out and camp! I’ve been wanting to come for a few years now but not I live close enough to come out, looking forward to it

Much appreciated! She’s pretty much done, just doing a few final touches to it. I’m not planning on any more work to the top half, she earned this patina over the years. But yes I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting some locals soon!

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Finally took my 45 frame to powdercoat and picked it up on Monday. Once I get back in town I will start tearing down the axles and get the housings ready for powdercoat as well

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Back on the 45 again this week, had some rotted portions of the frame right at the end where it arches back up for the rear axle, I decided to mimic the factory section that I cut out as close as possible, still need to cut the holes for the Allen bolts going into the frame and spring hangers

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Absolutely, welded some plates in first so my crossmember would be level across it and to give me some more surface to weld to

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Got some pieces fixed on the frame this past weekend, just need to weld in a few more supports and drill and sleeve the rear crossmember for the bumper, one step closer to powdercoat!

Only get spark when turning key off or to on position

Hello to all that may have this issue now or later down the road. I’ve been away from the Land Cruiser for a few months now, life just gets in the way sometimes, but I diagnosed it as a bad igniter, so I ordered one from pertronix and got her back on the road, along with a new slave cylinder for...
