I had a 1972 FJ40 in 1976-1978 and had been wanting another one ever since I let that one go. I was living in Idaho at the time and spent a lot of time in the mountains. I bought 2 FJ40's in June of 2015. A 1972 that I sold for parts and a 1973 that I kept and am bringing back from the dead. Its on the road now, or should I say off the road as I have taken it wheelin' a few times and plan to do so a bunch more. Love it! Glad to own a Land Cruiser again! I live in in Fort Worth, Texas now and nobody knows what my 40 is. Too funny! As of January 2018, I am 90% finished with an 11 month rebuild of the truck. Glad to get it back off road again.
