I am having very similar symptoms, combined with the fact that if go over 50 MPH, I get a terrible vibration. My mechanic thinks the front differential is the problem, and thinks the cost would be $2,500 - $3,000 to fix. I have a hard time spending that much on a car that is maybe worth $8k...
