Curious if a A750 trans out of a 2006 sequoia with a 4.7 will fit a 2006 GX470. Id swap the tail extensions as I know those are different between the two, but curious if the rest will fit without issue?
Thanks for any info.
Nope. I saw a tutorial on that being a potential issue on YT but was going to re seal that as a last resort.
I also saw a vid about an inlet source under the hood that can get plugged also but cant find it now for the life of me. I blew out all the leaves that pile up under there but wanted...
This is a thoroughly discussed topic about cleaning out the drain lines from the sunroof but I have another question.
(The PO sealed up the sunroof as it was inoperative so unless the seal has started leaking and the line is clogged its got to be coming from somewhere else)

Updates:
The Lucas Stop Slip ultimately didn't help and the problems returned pretty quickly.
I ordered the Transgo valve body rebuild shift kit, reg boost valve and accumulator piston and did a full vb rebuild. Still ran like s*** when I was done.
I took it to a shop to hopefully get a...
Heres a bit of an update.
I did the full Transgo rebuild on the valve body and it still drove like s***. I then took it to the shop to hopefully get a diagnosis as to what the issue was and they did a computer reset as part of their process. Well, turns out the reset forced the computer to...

I recall reading that an engine issue can cause an error code that doesn't allow the trans to shift correctly. Does anybody...
Around 200k miles on my GX470 and for a year or so Ive been having a delayed shift from R and N into D. I replaced the drive shaft and it seemed to help a little, but the delay was still there from time to time. (I also flushed the trans fluid and replaced the filter about a year ago but the...
A bit of an update.
I added half a bottle (12oz) of Lucas Stop Slip and for the rest of that day the problem disappeared. The result was almost immediate which seems to me the issue is with sticking valves and not seal related? The next day the issue came back only once in the morning when I...
