I went from the pop tent origami one (love how quickly it stores) to a weather tech custom fit one. The weather tech fits perfectly and definitely keeps out more heat. I’m super happy with it and got one for every car. It is an extra few seconds to fold and deploy, but the heat rejection...
Just wanted to update this thread for anyone in the future. Although the seats still look much better than before, the dye and leather filler don't seem to hold up so great. After very little/light use, the cracks have already come back through and the dye is starting to peel in certain spots...
I just made a DIY tool based on another members work. Worked perfect. And I’m super glad I made it. I also made a copy of a DIY jig to grease spindle. After greasing, this puller came in super handy. It would have been a pain in the butt to try and pull the CV by hand.
I plan to leave the back piece in most of the time and add the front piece just for the trips. It is easily removable by the two hinge pins. I separate the pin and slide the front piece out.
Just finished building my super simple sleeping platform. I wanted it to be minimal weight, easy to access everything under it, and not require the second row seats for support (will remove 2nd row for longer trips).
I just did mine a few weeks ago. It was really straight forward and I normally screw up small tasks. If you pop the hood and look down between bumper and radiator/condenser, you will see two black trans fluid hoses. I disconnected the return line that is making its way back to the trans. Used...

I suspect mine (2003 lx) also at some point had a similar issue. I tried to install a fumoto valve and realized the threads wouldn’t work. It seems like it had a helicoil installed at some point. I would love to change out the pan to fix it, but as mentioned above…it’s no small task. I only do...
I used the same product. I will note, after filling pretty extensively with the crack filler, I am getting some of the larger cracks starting to come back through. Still WAAAAY better than before, but this isn't magic.
Wow...just plugged this into NotebookLM like mentioned above. That's pretty awesome! All my test queries were spot on. Thanks for the tip, i didn't know that existed.
I just got a set of globes from them last week. I paid the estimated shipping up front, but then they came back and needed a few $ more (~6$) for actual shipping once it was ready to mail. So I think the final shipping rate can vary from what is quoted up front. I assume you would be reimbursed...
You’ll probably get much better advice with some pics so the members can see what it looks like. I’m in Utah, so I coat all my vehicles in Surface Shield every year. Stays wet vs the hard coatings. I have heard some issues with the permanent barrier types with getting salt/water/rust under and...
