SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

Punch a hole all the way through it, then you won’t have to make a decision….

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Stumps were maybe 15” diameter, and I wanted to keep an eye on the uprooting process. Never considered the front diff. Luckily, my stump pulling days are over.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

So far I have pulled a cherry tree stump and two aspens that were trimmed to ground level. Tow strap attached to front recovery points worked best. One of the aspens even required low gear, and the LX was on asphalt. Roots were huge.

There’s a new car wash in town for adventurous LC/LX owners. Uses pure rocky mtn water. Unfortunately it’s on Black Bear Road, and the town is Telluride. And they are already building a new car wash using higher water pressure so you can open your sunroof and get the interior cleaned for free.

New to me 2008 LC 200, 54k miles, Denver

Rust in Colorado is not much of an issue, but yeah those weathtech mats are great, and an added incentive is that their plant is herein Colorado near Rocky Mtn Metro Airport. They have a big store where you can go broke fast.

New to me 2008 LC 200, 54k miles, Denver

About twenty years ago, I picked up an LX450 from a small used car lot on south Broadway. Same story, an Aspen garage queen. Re 3rd row seats, I took mine out of my LX 570 but they are that beige color. Re keeping your LC clean, good luck if you have kids ( we had four). Once you resign yourself...

    Let’s see those 200s camping…..

Back in the 70’s, there was a documentary about how insects are the only other animal group besides humans that have steadily increased their populations. Eventually they were predicted to overrun the planet.

    Satellite Radio Antenna Replaced

Clean as a whistle. Trying to figure out why I also get the map locator function showing me moving in the wrong direction a little bit more each time I drive somewhere. As of now, it shows me in Wyoming, about 200 miles from where I really am. If GPS was down, why would it show me moving at all?

Just be aware of drop offs. One of those parking areas comes to a very abrupt end facing the river. Nice view if you stop in time.

Beautiful area. We spent several days backpacking up there many years ago. Learned to stay away from freeze-dried scrambled eggs. But nightly serenades by coyotes were unforgettable.
