Any one got any idea on the vacuum system. I have the repaired pump back in. But parts of the vacuum system were detached when i got it. I've got the page from Amayama parts but it does not show which pipe goes where.

Started stripping the pump ( crawling under in the snow) and having removed the inlet manifold as there is F/A front access I found an electrical connection, no idea what it does as i understood that fuel shut of is mechanical. Any Ideas maybe a sensor of some kind?

New primer made no difference. Plenty of pressure built via primer but still no fuel at injector side of pump. So the pump will have to come out, not looking forward to it.

Due to the current global lock down I was unable to replace it, so blanked it off and used the electric pump to clear any air. I hope to have time next week to extract it as I can not think of anything else to try.

Had a bit of time yesterday so attached an electric lifter pump and checked for leaks clear bubble-less run of fuel from bleed point. Checked fuel line where it goes into mechanical lifter pump on side of injection pump and had fuel Operated vacuum diaphragm to open turned engine over no fuel...

This one comes with an adapter ring which although may not work looks fairly close, will advise later in the week

Hi Milo I found a bosch primer online not sure if it will fit but at less than £10 it's worth a punt. Should turn up this week I will advise if it fits. It would be a good starting point and well within the capabilities of any DIYer
