maybe a clogged fuel line or fuel tank. i had same type of problem and i rigged a boat gas tank directly to carb intake to test. fired right up. turned out my fuel tank was clogged.

been considering this as well. just general question to anyone- what is the "all everything" cost at the end of the day with an outside shop doing the work? just ball park.

mine was doing same and it was because fuel tank had crud in it, partially clogging and then fully clogging the fuel line. if you ran out of gas, you may have sucked something down the fuel line. as said, check/replace your fuel filter. while its unhooked, make sure your getting proper fuel flow...

Major breakthrough! Unhooked the fuel line from the tank and dropped it into an external tank and I’m up and running! Now to figure out how to clean out the tank or whether I need to replace! Thanks to all for the advice!
